Yamaha Disklavier E3 Power Supply Rebuild Service

Description

If your Yamaha Disklavier E3 will not power on, or powers on but will not properly operate the piano, a failing power supply may be the cause. Please note this service is for the Yamaha Disklavier E3, not for the Mark II, Mark II XG, or Mark III power supplies.

I offer a complete mail-in rebuild service for the original Yamaha Disklavier E3 power supply assembly.

What’s Included

The service includes:

• Replacement of the 12 V power system
• Replacement of the 48 V power system
• Inspection of the complete power supply assembly
• Bench testing before return
• Insured return shipping

The rebuilt assembly is tested before being shipped back to you.

Compatibility

This service is intended for full Yamaha Disklavier E3 systems using the original DKC-800 control unit.

It is not intended for DKC-850 upgrade systems or unrelated Disklavier power supplies.

What to Send

Send only the complete power supply assembly unless I have specifically asked you to include something else.

I do not need the cables, mounting hardware, control unit, or other piano components.

Please pack the assembly carefully in a strong box with generous padding on every side. The power supply is relatively heavy, so large-cell bubble wrap or similarly substantial cushioning is recommended.

You are responsible for shipping the power supply to me. Insured return shipping is included in the $695 service price.

Removal and Installation

This product covers rebuilding the power supply assembly only. Removal of the power supply from the piano and reinstallation after repair are not included.

Local removal, installation, or additional Disklavier service may be available separately for customers in Southern Maine.

Safety

Do not open the power supply case. Power supplies can retain dangerous voltages even after being disconnected from AC power.
