Log File Monitoring: We retain and monitor server logs to detect and mitigate potential threats. These are deleted after a two-week interval.
Limited Access: Access to personal information is restricted to authorized personnel with a legitimate need to know.
Checksum & Virus Scan: Every upload is checked for known malware signatures before processing.
At-Rest Deletion: Original uploads are automatically wiped 14 days after conversion (or sooner if you request). Converted files are purged after 30 days. Back-ups are encrypted and cycle out after 7 days.
Despite our efforts, no security measure is foolproof. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data; however, we continuously update and refine our safeguards to reduce risks.

If we discover our tools are being used to assist in the delivery of copyright-protected media, we will pursue this with manufacturers and the law.
We strictly forbid conversion of files that harbor malware or harmful code—such as viruses, worms, ransomware, macros, or scripts designed to compromise systems. We forbid the use of our tools on any content whose possession or distribution is illegal (for example, child sexual-abuse material, extremist propaganda, or instructions for illicit activity).
Do not upload disk images holding personal or sensitive data—medical records, financial information, government IDs—without lawful authorization, nor content that infringes privacy, intellectual-property, or other legal rights, or that promotes harassment, hate, or violence.
We automatically scan uploads for malicious or infringing content and reserve the right to refuse, delete, or report any file that appears to violate these rules or applicable law. Serious violations may lead to immediate suspension of access to the Image Conversion Tool and, where necessary, disclosure of basic identifying information to competent authorities.
