The DKC500RXG is the controller used with MX100IIXG, MX1, DGPIIXG, and related Mark II XG Disklaviers. It records and plays both Standard MIDI Files and older E-SEQ songs, using internal storage or floppy disks.

Things to Know
If replacing the floppy disk drive, use my Nalbantov model guide to select the proprietary slim drive made for this controller. My DKC-500-series installation guide walks through the procedure.
A DKC-850 can replace this controller, but the installation requires the correct model-specific harness—not an ordinary VGA cable. My DKC-850 conversion-cable guide explains the original Yamaha cable and the replacement adapters made by Richie Hayes. On a PRO piano, the replacement operates in STANDARD mode and does not preserve PRO/XP recording.
