The DKC500RWXG is the Mark II XG PRO controller associated with the MX1Z. It records and plays both Standard MIDI Files and older E-SEQ songs, using internal storage or floppy disks.

Things to Know

On a PRO piano, XP performance data is stored inside the SMF0 file. Mark II XG PRO captures key/hammer velocity at 0–1023 resolution and pedals at 0–127, beyond ordinary MIDI resolution.
A DKC-850 can replace this controller, but the installation requires the correct model-specific harness—not an ordinary VGA cable. On a PRO piano, the replacement operates in STANDARD mode and does not preserve PRO/XP recording.
