Documented repair on this exact model
I documented a new P-525 with a misbehaving note and small white particles at the rubber key contacts. The repair was covered by Yamaha’s warranty. I could not establish where the particles originated. This was one instrument, not evidence of a model-wide defect or a measured failure rate. The useful buying lesson is to test the instrument when it arrives and keep the purchase documentation.
